Circa 1968

Circa 1968 appropriates Jean-Pierre Rey’s iconic photograph of students demonstrating in the streets of Paris. Kelly adds movement to her ephemeral adaptation of the archive image with projected light noise. This subtle reanimation of 'the events of 68,' encourages questions about reappearance of the past, and its legacy, in the present.
